I thought I was finished with this painting that I did at WinterPark, FL Plein Air Paint Out this past April.  But when I stood back and took a good look, I realized the pathway into the painting stopped the viewer from coming into the piece (SEE #2).  So I scraped the shadow out and repainted it allowing a clearer pathway into the painting, allowing your eye to enter and move around (SEE #3).  I was so thrilled when it sold!!!  Making simple composition changes can create a much more pleasing painting. #1 - PHOTO          #2 - THOUGHT I WAS FINISHED    [...]
