First Things First
Kathleen Denis
Preparation for my painting is an important part of my painting process. In this short video you will see the first part of this process as I begin with contour drawings, notans and value studies. Grab a sketch pad, pencil, big fat black marker, 4 value markers, a cup of coffee and a comfey chair. Think positive and negative shapes, along with values. The hard work pays off!!!
